The team brings together a rich mix of technical expertise, international exposure to business, keen understanding of organisational issues, specialised process skills, and extensive experience in conducting training programs for the wind industry leaders worldwide.

Always focused on maximizing ROI, Metopole experts took part in the development of 30+GW of wind power projects development worldwide, trained and certified about 500 wind engineers on premium wind resource assesment techniques on the most complex sites in Europe, Americas, Asia and MENA region.


MeteoPole experts are often invited to give lectures at global wind conferences (EWEA, AWEA, China Wind Power,...).

Karim Fahssis

Mr. Karim Fahssis Chief Executive Officer, Cofounder


Karim Fahssis is a well-known wind energy expert with a deep knowledge and hands-on experience of all the stages of a wind power project development: from site selection to turbine power performance optimization. He was awarded by MIT Technology Review among the top 10 French innovators under 35 (2014). He holds a double master degree of Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France) and Xi'an Jiaotong University (China).


Tristan Clarenc

 Mr. Tristan Clarenc, Chief Technology Officer, Cofounder


 Tristan Clarenc -founder of Zephy-Science- is well-known in the industry for his in-depth expertise of advanced CFD wind modeling with a track record of successful products which helped the global wind industry in raising assessments quality standards over the past decade. He is now heading the development of the ZephyTOOLS® platform as well as supervising the bankable consultancy services delivered by MeteoPole to its global clients.

Zhao Pengyu

Mr. Zhao Pengyu, China Project Manager


Zhao Pengyu is in charge of client support and projects technical validation in the Chinese market. He was selected by both French and Chinese governments to attend a Sino-French Engineering Program and get a double master degree of Engineering from Ecole Centrale Pékin and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Beihang University).
